Creating Gifts from the Heart

The hive was buzzing softly as Grace the Bee set up her little craft table. Today, she wanted to make something special — not for herself, but for someone else. With Thanksgiving week approaching, she felt a warm flutter inside… the feeling of wanting to give.

She gathered her supplies:
paper, markers, pollen glue, and tiny flower petals.
Then she began working on her newest creation:
“Honey Thank-You Cards.” 🍯💌

They were simple: small cards shaped like honey drops.
But inside each one, Grace wrote a message meant to brighten a heart:
🌼 “Thank you for being kind.”
🍯 “I’m glad you are part of my hive.”
💛 “Your smile is sweet as honey.”
🐝 “You make our hive better.”

As she decorated the cards with gentle colors and little flowers, Grace felt something warm growing inside her chest. She wasn’t thinking about herself. She wasn’t worried about how the cards looked.
She was thinking of others — and that made her heart feel full.

Grace realized something beautiful:

Giving isn’t about how fancy a gift is.
It’s about the love you put into it.

When she finished, she held the tiny stack of cards close. Each one felt like a little piece of sunshine.
Her plan was to deliver them secretly — leaving them in front of honeycomb doors or tucking them under wings when her friends weren’t looking.

Not for attention.
Not for praise.
But just because giving felt right.

And that was the sweetest gift of all.
