Finding Calm in Laughter

The hive was peaceful today. The sunlight shone through the honeycomb walls, making golden patterns on the floor. Grace the Bee sat quietly near her favorite flower and smiled to herself, remembering all the funny things that had happened this week — the silly dance, the giggles, the wobbly loop she flew in the meadow.

She took a deep breath and thought, “Laughter doesn’t just make me happy — it helps me feel calm too.”

Grace closed her eyes and listened. The gentle buzz of her friends working nearby mixed with the soft hum of the wind. It made her feel warm inside — like all the laughter she had shared was still floating through the hive, bringing peace with it.

Sometimes, she realized, being silly is another kind of mindfulness. It helps you let go of worry, take a breath, and simply enjoy the moment you’re in.

🌼 Try It with Grace

Take a slow, happy breath.
🐝 Inhale: I am light and joyful.
🍯 Exhale: I let my laughter bring me peace.

Then smile — even a tiny one! Notice how your body feels when you do. Laughter and calm can live together in the same sweetheart.

💛 Grace’s Bee Still Thought

“Joy can be quiet too — it lives in the calm after laughter.”
