Grace the Bee woke up feeling excited about the Great Honey Feast this week. Everywhere she flew, she saw bees preparing gifts — jars of golden honey, bundles of flowers, even hand-painted notes for friends.
But Grace noticed something else too:
Not every bee knew what to give.
Some looked overwhelmed, others unsure.
And some, like Willow Bee the day before, worried they didn’t have much to offer.
Grace thought about that as she strolled through the sunny meadow. She remembered how sharing just a little honey had brightened Willow’s entire day.
Maybe giving didn’t have to be big.
Maybe giving could be small… and still incredibly sweet.
She landed beside a young bee named Pip, who sat sadly beside a tiny flower.
“What’s wrong?” Grace asked.
Pip shrugged. “Everyone’s bringing something special to the feast… but I don’t have anything special.”
Grace smiled warmly. “You do have something special. You have you. And that’s more than enough.”
Pip looked confused, so Grace explained:
“Giving isn’t just about things. It’s about kindness. It’s about our hearts.”
She helped Pip think of ideas:
🌼 Sharing a flower
🐝 Giving someone a compliment
🍯 Helping carry something
💛 Telling a friend, “I’m glad you’re here”
Pip’s face brightened instantly.
“That means I can give something!”
Grace nodded. “You can give a lot.”
Before long, Pip had picked a tiny bloom and was hurrying off to share it with Buzzby. Grace watched with a full heart. Giving didn’t need to be huge to make a difference — sometimes the smallest act could fill the whole hive with warmth.
