Creating Comfort with Art

The hive felt quiet and soft today — the kind of day where even the honey seemed to drip a little slower. Grace the Bee knew exactly what kind of Creative Corner project would help her heart feel comforted: something gentle, something warm, something that reminded her she wasn’t alone.

She gathered her craft supplies and began creating something she called
“The Comfort Heart.” 💛🍯

It was a simple project — a heart made from paper, decorated with colors that felt calming: blues, purples, soft yellows. But the most important part wasn’t the outside… it was what she put inside.

Grace wrote little messages on tiny slips of paper:
🌼 “I am loved.”
🐝 “It’s okay to feel sad.”
🍯 “My feelings matter.”
💛 “I can ask for help.”

She folded each one and tucked them into a pocket on the back of her heart. Whenever sadness visited, she could lift the heart and read one of her notes — a warm reminder that comfort was always within reach.

As she placed the final decoration on her craft, Grace’s wings untensed. Her sadness didn’t disappear, but it felt softer… like a pillow she could rest against.

Art didn’t erase her feelings — it made a safe space for them.
